“Real housewife. Cabaret singer. Former nurse. Forever countess. Luann de Lesseps has held many titles, but early in life, she took on the role of "world traveler," and it's a label that she still owns today. Since leaving her childhood home in Berlin, Connecticut, Luann de Lesseps has been on the move—upward and onward. Here, the countess talks travel, touring, and the total trip that’s being in the public eye.
Luann: ‘Curiosity and a drive to understand people, cultures and different languages. Both of my parents were Canadian, so we grew up speaking French in the home. I think that's what sparked my travel bug at such a young age.’”

Just 10 days after leaving rehab for the second time, “The Real Housewives of New York City” star Luann de Lesseps sits down with Megyn Kelly to detail her relapse, her move to upstate New York as a commitment to her sobriety and why she won’t appear on the “Housewives” reunion episode.
"Countess Luann de Lesseps of The Real Housewives of New York City fame take to the stage in a cabaret show entitled '#CountessAndFriends' (hashtag hers) at Feinstein’s/54 Below, a venue whose Haunted Mansion meets bordello décor was more than suited for the occasion.
Luann de Lesseps is arguably the classiest and most royal-seeming of the housewives... A VISION OF CLASS!! And countess who is a-THRIVING! Luann donned a floor-length beaded white gown that had me screaming Oh God Yes! YESSSS! To The Dress."

“I am not a scripted actress — I’m more of an off-the-cuff-type person,” she said.
Standing in front of a baby-grand piano in her bright Upper West Side penthouse, freezing rain tapping gently against the windows, Ms. de Lesseps studied a printout of her introductory remarks for #CountessAndFriends, a cabaret show that will debut at the Manhattan nightclub Feinstein’s/54 Below on Feb. 27. As the Grammy-winning composer Billy Stritch played “With a Little Help From My Friends,” she addressed an imaginary crowd...To know that the show was totally sold out and people are still trying to get tickets is a really great feeling,” said Ms. de Lesseps.

The Countess brought her wildly successful cabaret show, #CountessAndFriends, to The Borgata's 1,000-seat Music Box Theater this weekend in Atlantic City. Selling out her biggest show yet is almost as impressive as not drinking when in Atlantic City…it was all so sublime. Including many of the #AndFriends…Still, the charismatic Countess remained the most captivating.
The Real Housewives of New York City star was back on stage Friday night, performing her sold-out smash #CountessAndFriends Cabaret show — this time in Atlantic City, New Jersey, at The Borgata‘s 1,000-seat Music Box Theater. And while she remained light-hearted in the show about her battle , she told PEOPLE backstage afterwards that she views her drinking problem as no laughing matter and isn’t worried about relapsing again.
Subtle blush and pale rose lipstick ensured the reality star looked radiant for her outing.
The former countess looked to be in fine spirits, despite the fact that she only left rehab for alcohol addiction at the beginning of August.
'Luann knows there will be a lot of eyes on her this weekend but she is healthy, feeling well, in good spirits and is ready to put on a great show for her fans' a source told E! News at the time.
While singing Amy Winehouse’s 2006 hit “Rehab” during her Countess and Friends cabaret show at The Paramount in Long Island, New York, on Saturday, the Real Housewives of New York City star quipped, “I actually loved rehab. I loved it so much I went back.”
“I felt like I needed them more than they needed me,” she remarked. “Just being onstage, I couldn’t wait to get onstage. I’ve been through so much in the last year, and you know, most recently, so I needed to get out, and get here. It was just therapy for me.”
"Putting yourself first and when you get knocked down you stand back up. There is no other choice in life," she told us. "And words are one thing, but showing people is another. It was so important for me to show my daughter, that through all the trials and tribulations that I've had that you gotta keep it moving. Move forward, don't spend too much time thinking about the past, I feel like it's better to just keep on going forward."
The Real Housewives of New York star performed her “Countess and Friends” cabaret show at The Paramount in Long Island, New York on Saturday night, where she playfully discussed heading to her second stint at rehab recently to help her combat alcoholism.
“But I gotta tell you something,” she told the raucous crowd while wearing a sparkling silver gown. “Not drinking is exhausting. It really is.” She then discussed how she’s getting up early every morning to attend meetings in order to keep her on track.
The song of the summer has officially arrived, and it’s by Bravo’s resident hit-makers, Luann de Lesseps and DJ James Kennedy!
The Real Housewives of New York and Vanderpump Rules stars (respectively) teamed up for the ultimate Bravo crossover with a chic (c’est la vie!) remix. Kennedy put his own professional spin on de Lesseps’ famous hit “Money Can’t Buy You Class” in honor of San Fran Pride this weekend, where she’ll be performing.
“It was so fabulous to collaborate with James in L.A., he’s a doll. I can’t wait to dance to his remix at Pride this weekend in San Francisco, my #CountessandFriends shows and all summer long,” de Lesseps tells PEOPLE. “It’s got such fun energy, you can’t help but wanna get up and move...”

“…Luann is soaking up the peaceful, natural scenery of the Catskills — and also squeezing in some tomahawk practice.

"Luann showed off her toned and tanned figure for all of the world to see. In the snapshot, the Real Housewives of New York star is all smiles as she poses for a photo on a boat in Sag Harbor, New York. Her short, brunette hair is flowing in the wind as she pairs her suit with a long, gold necklace.
But the star of the photo is clearly Luann’s body. The former countess is rocking an itty bitty red bikini that ties at her sides. She leaves little to the imagination in a bikini fit for a model…"
“Cohen was surprised by Luann de Lesseps — who serenaded him with a sultry version of “Happy Birthday.” Dripping in diamonds in a plunging sparkling gown and white gloves, de Lesseps had Cohen cheering with applause as she appeared on the ABC show’s set.
She carried two red balloons (with the numbers 5-0, naturally), finishing the tune by embracing her “Andy, baby” with a hug and a kiss. “Wow you look like a piece of cake,” Cohen told her afterwards. “Amazing, amazing!”

"But Luann is at once a more fabulous and more flawed version than all of us. This is precisely what makes her so watchable, and why we’ll return to RHONY this season hoping for a bit of redemption for our girl. It’s why her NYC cabaret shows are selling out, and why crowds are there to cheer and not simply to snicker. This gal’s been through some shit, and she’s not backing down from most likely going through some more shit."

"Luann de Lesseps has recruited some Broadway heavy hitters to join her cabaret debut.

"...while Luann wore cozy-looking boots and a t-shirt that made a big statement. "I Can I Will," the life-affirming top read. In her caption, Luann reiterated the sentiment, and also added hash tags that provided another peek into her current state of mind: #friends and #inspiration. Her choice of emoji — a fist bump and a flexing muscle — helped underscore the message of strength."
